We’re scaling fast — and we’re looking for a dedicated Business Development Executive to help accelerate our go-to-market execution, strengthen customer engagement, and drive revenue growth. If you thrive in fast-moving environments, are curious about cybersecurity and quantum technologies, and want to help define how critical infrastructure companies defend themselves for the next decade — this is your role.
Role Overview
This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role best suited to a mid-level candidate who loves to build from scratch and make things happen. You’ll work directly with senior leadership to shape our market strategy, refine product positioning, and win early customers in key sectors like fintech, government, healthtech, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Go-To-Market Support
● Translate product positioning and GTM concepts into actionable outreach, campaign plans, and partnership strategies.
● Help define and test pricing models, packaging, and service tiers in collaboration with Product and Marketing.
Business Development & Sales Enablement
● Research, identify, and engage potential customers, partners, and distribution channels.
● Develop tailored pitch decks, case studies, and outreach scripts for early conversations.
● Own the full business development funnel — from initial outreach to qualified opportunity handoff or close.
Cross-functional Collaboration
● Partner with Marketing to fine-tune brand messaging, thought leadership, and technical storytelling.
● Coordinate with Product to share market insights, buyer objections, and feature requests.
Growth Operations
● Track KPIs aligned to sales velocity, customer conversations, and partnership traction.
● Regularly report on engagement metrics, deal status, and strategy pivots to the executive team.
The ‘Ideal Candidate’ Profile
Required
● 3+ years of experience in business development, partner sales, early-stage go-to-market, or related B2B growth roles.
● Self-starter mindset — you enjoy building from a blank slate and thrive on autonomy.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
● Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Pipedrive), outbound tools (Apollo, Outreach), and productivity apps (Notion, Slack).
Preferred
● A passion and understanding for cybersecurity or quantum resilience domains.
● Prior experience in startups or technical B2B environments.
● Comfort speaking with CISOs, CTOs, or enterprise buyers.
Compensation & Benefits
● Monthly Compensation: $5,000–$6,600 CAD/month (depending on experience).
● Performance-based bonus opportunities after interim period
● Travel expenses covered for key conferences or in-person customer meetings.
